Macbeth
ACT 1 SUMMARY
The setting in Macbeth is in Scotland in the 11th century. . . Right then Scotland was in a war with another country and Macbeth won the war for Scotland and gained 10,000 dollars. About 3 seconds later another country came over the hill on the battlements and fought against Scotland and again Macbeth won the war for Scotland. Macbeth was full of energy and he was very strong. When Macbeth was coming home his best friend and himself met 3 witches. The 3 witches told Macbeth that he was going to be Thane of Cawdor and king too. Macbeth and Banquo didn't know what to think. Macbeth immediately wrote a letter to his wife and she was very excited. Lady Macbeth decided that if her husband was going to become king she would kill the king but the king just claimed his son as king after he died and so Lady Macbeth is going to have to kill both of them. A little while later King Duncan decides he is going to spend the night at Macbeth's house that night. That night when King Duncan came over, Macbeth suspiciously stayed in his room almost the whole time. Good luck King Duncan!!!. . . Hahahaha!!

Macbeth's Curse
There is a rumor about the curse of macbeth. They say that everyone that acts it out on stage something bad happens to them. There was one guy who was acting it out and he fell off the stage. Everyone went over to him and saw that he was dead!!! There was once a woman that acted it out and in a few days she was found dead. Dun dun dun!!!! So everyone that acts it out usually dies. Do you believe it? Scary isn't it. hahaha!!!!! |  The Fourth Witch |
 | Some people believe there is a fourth witch. They believe the fourth witch is Lady Macbeth. I dont believe that but some people do. They believe that because she is so mean and evil. She even called the evil spirits inside her!! do you believe it or not? |
| Ambition Sometimes ambition is good but sometimes it is bad. It is good in a way because if you are helping someone you are determined to do it. It is bad because if you are determined to do something you might brake the rules. That would be really bad. I know that if you are fighting for a country you have to, but if you just go around fighting people, that is bad!! I'm not real ambitios but if you are think about your actions before you do it. |
Banquo & Fleance
Macbeth sees the dagger! | After Banquo and Fleance were gone Macbeth was walking back up the steps. In front of him Macbeth saw a floating dagger! He looked at it and tried to grab it but he couldnt. He thought his mind was playing tricks on him. The dagger spun around in the air and on the other side was blood on it. Then, Macbeth hesitated on killing the king but he went on upstairs. |
Lady macbeth then waits for Macbeth to return from killing the king.
Then, Macbeth returns.But Macbeth returns with the daggers! He was supposed to give the daggers to the guards that were asleep but he brought them back with him! So, Lady Macbeth took the daggers back. Macbeth told Lady Macbeth that he heard someone cry out "Murder". He found out that it was Duncans sons. The two sons said their prayers and said amen but Macbeth said he couldn't say amen he just couldn't get out of his mouth. He was very sad.
The Porter
Someone kept knocking on Macbeths door and Macbeth got nervous. The person that was knocking on the door was only the porter. The porter was drunk and he didn't know what he was doing.
Macduff and Lennox arrive | Macduff went in the kings room and saw that the king was dead. Then he and Lennox went and woke up everyone in the castle and told them that the king was dead. |
Malcom and Donalbain react | Donalbain and Malcom react by running away because they think someone is going to kill them. Now everyone in the castle thinks it is them that killed the king. Even though it is Macbeth that killed the king. |
Old man, Ross and Macduff talk
The old man ross and Macduff have a talk about all that has happened.
Banquo and son go for ride | Banquo and his son go for a peaceful horseride in the forest but they have to be back at seven for a banquet at the castle. They were riding and then it got dark outside so they started walking their horses back for the castle. Banquo and Fleance were walking back when something happened. |
Macbeth seeks for help from murderers
Macbeth wanted 2 murderers to go kill Banquo and his son in the forest. Macbeth tried to persuade the murderers to do it by tellig them Banquo was the one that always told on them when they killed someone. So,they agreed. The murderers went to the forest and hid in a ditch and waited for Banquo and Fleance to come back. While they were waiting another murderer came to them and told them he was going to help kill Banquo and Fleance.
Losing control | Lady Macbeth thinks everything is going wrong because she is losing control of her husband. She can't make him do anything anymore. He does stuff without even telling her anymore. |
Banquo murdered, Fleance escapes | While Banquo and Fleance are on their way back the murderers jump out of the ditch. They grab Banquo and manage to kill him wtih 20 fatal strikes in the head. Before he dies, Banquo tells Fleance to run and escape. And, Fleance escapes. |
Banquet begins, murderers arrive
The banquet begins and the murderers show up with blood all over them to tell the king the job is only half done. Now the king is extremely mad!
Banquo's ghost | The murderers leave and then Macbeth turns around and there is a ghost in his chair! Then Macbeth realizes it's Banquo's ghost! Banquo's ghost is pouring with blood and then Macbeth starts yelling at it. Nobody knows what he is yelling at. Then Lady Macbeth tries to calm everyone down but then she gives up and tells everyone to go home. |
Hecate visits the witches | Hecate,the witch, visits the other witches. She is very mad because the witches are casting spells without telling her. She said the witches are making the city horrible! She said there are storms and tornadoes in the city and the horses are eating each other and they don't have the right king! Hecate tells the witches to go get a few things so they can change it back. |
Lennox suspects Macbeth
Lennox is a thane and he is suspecting Macbeth. He goes to England to find Malcolm to tell him he needs to come back to be king, because the king isn't running the castle right.
Act 4
The witches are in the woods making their spell that had the eye of a newt, a frog that has been under a cold stone for 31 days and 31 nights, and some other gross stuff to change the city back to normal. A little while later Macbeth comes looking for them in the forest and he finds them. Then, he asks them if they can show him his future. The witches say no. Macbeth begs and begs until they finally say yes. First, they show him a helmeted head and it told Macbeth to fear MacDuff. Now, Macbeth is a little worried. Second, they him an injured baby and the baby tells him to fear NO man born of a woman. Then, Macbeth says he is not afraid of MacDuff because of what the baby told him. And finally the third is a child with a branch in his hand. The child says Macbeth will be king until the woods grow legs. Then the witches leave. Macbeth begs them for one more. They say ok. Macbeth asks them if Banquo's sons will ever be king. The witches show him one more ghostly figure and it is about five people with crowns on their heads. They all have something in common, like 2 have the same eyes, or 2 are about the same size. They are all Banquo's children. Now Macbeth thinks he has killed Banquo and every other person for nothing. Meanwhile, Lady MacDuff is extremely mad because her husband left to go to England without telling her and now she is all alone with her children, and he left with his whole army and left her unprotected. MacDuff wanted went to England to tell Malcolm he needed to come back and be rightful king where he belongs. He also went to get another army and also England's army so they can kill Macbeth. Next, Ross goes to MacDuff's house to warn Lady MacDuff that Macbeth has sent murderers to kill her. Lady MacDuff doesn't know what to do and she doesn't know where to go so she stays at her house. Then, the murderers arrive and kills her and her family and anyone that was on MacDuff's property. Later, MacDuff persuades Malcolm to come home with England's troops to kill Macbeth. So they are about to leave on their ship when arrives and tells MacDuff that his family was killed. Now, MacDuff is really mad and really wants to kill Macbeth.
ACT 5
Lady Macbeths SErvant or gentle woman was worried about Lady Macbeth. Lady Macbeth was sleep walking and doing weird things. So she called the doctor. The doctor watched Lady Macbeth and just talked a little bit with the gentle woman. Later that day Macbeth got a report about all of his soldiers leaving beacause they were scared of being attacked. Unfortunately Macbeth didn't care. He didn't care if they left.Later that day Seyton came and told Macbeth that Lady Macbeth killed herself. Macbeth acted like he didnt care thjough. The next day Macbeth prepares for war. He gets all of the stuff he needs. Macbeth then yells for Seyton to come to him. After he called a few times Seyton arrives. Macbeth tells Seyton to put his armor on for him and then Macbeth tells him to take it off for him then Macbeth tells him to put it back on! A few minutes later a soldier runs up and tells Macbeth that the woods are moving! Macbeth thinks he is CRAZY! Macbeth says that if the woods weren't moving he was going to kill the soldier. So MAcbeth went to the window hole and the woods WERE moving! THen Macbeth realizes that the woods are the enemies. The enemies intrude the castle and they break in and everybody starts fighting. Young Siward finds Macbeth in the castle and they start fighting. Then Macbeth slays Young Siward. After that MacDuff and Macbeth start fighting. MacDuff slices off Macbeth's head. In the end MacDuff tells Malcolm to come home and be king and he does.
